Madison Wall Signs With West Virginia

Congratulations to Madison Wall. Last Thursday May the 9th, the GCAT swimmer and Bluffton High School senior signed with the West Virginia Mountaineers. Madison was joined by her parents Dondi and Theresa Wall, and GCAT coach Dennis Lugemwa.

Grace Van Brunt Takes Down Two State Records

Congratulations to Grace Van Brunt on setting two new Georgia state records in the Girls 9-10 50m Backstroke and 100m Backstroke. Both records were held by Sarah Vantine and were set in 1988. Grace now owns all the 9-10 Girls backstroke records!

GCAT Dominates Boomers Down Under Meet

Caty Hulsey Commits to University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill

GCAT Swimmer, Calvary Day Senior, and 2012 Olympic Trials qualifier Caty Hulsey has chosen the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill as her destination to extend her swimming career and continue her education. The Tar Heels Swim Team is coached by Rich DeSelm. Congrats Caty!

Aaron Seymour qualifies for Iron Kids Nationals

Aaron Seymour placed 6th at the Iron Kids Triathlon in Alpharetta, GA on Sunday September 16th. The 6th place finish qualifies Aaron for Nationals in Des Moines, Iowa next year. Aaron’s dad writes, “His great finish was partly the result of a first place finish in the swim.” Congrats to Aaron Seymour and GO GCAT!

Carolyn Bonfield Signs With Emory
